After a dismal day with some much needed rain, we are still looking at overcast and cool conditions this Saturday. The heaviest rain fell over the north shore with our weather watcher Joe in Loranger calling in 4.25" of rain through the event. Although the rain ended it remains chilly today with high temperatures in the 50's.
There will be minimal warm up for Sunday with temperatures still cool in the 50's, but still overcast skies for Saints' tailgating and afternoon highs in the low 60's. We could see a light shower or two late Sunday with Monday being even warmer ahead of the next cold front. The front moves in Tuesday and it will be a strong one with the chance for heavy rain and thunderstorms.
While sky conditions will be a bit unpleasant the trade off will be much colder air and sunny skies just in time for Santa's flight.
