NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The day started out a bit cloudy, but we saw plenty of sun as we made it into the late afternoon and the cold started pushing in just in time for Santa's ride tonight. Rudolph will have an easy time of it as we will have mostly clear skies in place through the overnight and into the morning.
Look for cold conditions on Christmas morning with near freezing temperatures on the north shore and in the River Parishes. The south shore will also see a number of locations drop into the 30's. If you are not a fan of the cold, don't worry we do expect temperatures to rebound into the upper 50s with plenty of sunshine for the afternoon. Merry Christmas!
