NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A frosty beginning to your Christmas morning with temperatures in the 30s both sides of the lake. A number of locations will hit the freezing mark on the north shore and in the River Parishes. The cold doesn't last long though as the high moves over to our east by the afternoon and winds turn around to the south and southeast.
Christmas day stays dry and sunny. Looking ahead to Friday look for a warm up and more moisture leading to a foggy morning and showers possible by the late evening. The rain could linger through the weekend.
