Coroner identifies victim in deadly Algiers shooting

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - A man shot and killed in Algiers on Monday afternoon has been identified.

Guy Henderson, 27, was shot multiple times Monday in the 3200 block of Ptolemy Street. The shooting was reported around 4:15 p.m.

Officers were called to investigate a man down inside a blue Kia SUV. Henderson sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the body and died on the scene, officers say.

Information is still scarce surrounding the shooting.
