Police seek suspect in Warehouse District nightclub beating

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The NOPD is asking for the public's help in identifying a man wanted in connection with a Dec. 21 beating in a Warehouse District nightclub

Police said the incident happened in the 800 block of S. Peters Street at about 3:45 a.m.

A 21-year-old man told detectives he was involved in a fight with another man just before leaving the club. The victim said he could not remember anything else about the incident other than waking up in the hospital. During the fight, the victim sustained a broken jaw.

Detective Willie Jenkins was able to develop a suspect through club surveillance video.

The subject in the video wearing a jacket is the alleged attacker. The other two subjects, one wearing a striped shirt, and the other wearing a buttoned-up shirt, were both in the company of the suspect. They should be considered persons of interest.
