NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

An Orleans Parish grand jury has indicted two 16-year-olds accused of a carjacking and the murder of a pizza delivery man.

Shane Hughes and Rendell Brown are charged with armed robbery in connection with the carjacking of a woman in the 100 block of Newcomb Boulevard on Sept. 20, 2014. Police said Hughes and Brown beat the victim and stole her purse and car.

In addition, the same two 16-year-olds are charged with armed robbery and second degree murder in the death of pizza delivery man Richard Yeager. That incident happened late at night on Sept. 21, 2014 in the 2800 block of Saint Louis Street.

Both Hughes and Brown are in custody on $1.5 million dollar bonds.
