After a little sunshine and slightly warmer temperatures Saturday ended up being a fairly nice day. Some areas saw highs get up to 50 degrees in a couple of locations. The clouds did start to roll back in by late afternoon and the evening is definitely overcast. It will still be chilly tonight with south shore lows in the low 40s and north shore lows in the middle 30s.
Showers begin early Sunday morning as a surface low moves into the area from the Texas coast. Temperatures will be a little warmer with highs in the upper 50s. The showers will linger into early Monday morning before another surge of cold, dry air moves in for Tuesday. Expect showers to end late Monday as the next front approaches and one dry day with falling temperatures before we see a return to rain mid-week.
