NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

New Orleans Police say a man, who implied he had a handgun, managed to rob a Subway Restaurant.

The incident happened around 9:00 p.m. Monday at the Subway in the 1600 block of Franklin Avenue.

Police say the man walked up to the register and demanded money, while implying he had a gun. Officers say the employee placed cash in a plastic bag and the robber took off.

Police say he was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and a black Boston Celtics baseball cap. If you have any information about this armed robbery, call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
