NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The New Orleans Police Department is looking for a man who threatened employees at a Burger King with a gun.
Police say on Jan. 11, the customer was sleeping at a table at a Burger King in the 2700 block of Canal Street. When employees woke him up around 10 p.m., he allegedly became extremely angry. The employees told police the man tried to hit them with a dust pan before leaving the restaurant.
Employees say a short time later, he returned, shouted profanities at them and pulled a gun out of his jacket pocket before leaving again.
The suspect is described as a black male, about 6'2" tall with light-colored blue or green eyes and short curly hair.
