(WVUE) - Cold air at the surface and overriding moisture has created a nasty day.
Temperatures will remain in the 40s and the showers will be off and on through the afternoon. As the upper disturbance responsible for this mess pushes east, clearing skies will begin late Thursday evening and overnight lows will drop into the 30s north and south with a freeze on the Northshore and area away from the city.
Sunny skies but a chilly afternoon on Friday with highs in the mid 50s. A very pleasant weekend with mostly sunny skies and afternoon temps in the 60s Saturday and upper 50s Sunday.
