Slidell man jailed on child porn charges

SLIDELL, LA (WVUE) - A Slidell man was arrested Friday on one count of possessing pornography involving juveniles, announced Attorney General Buddy Caldwell.

27-year-old Thomas Kendall, of Nassau Drive, was arrested as a result of a joint investigation involving the Louisiana Attorney General's Cyber Crime Unit, St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office, Slidell Police Department, Louisiana State Police and Homeland Security Investigations. 

Kendall was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail.

Kendall is charged with violating a state law forbidding a person to produce, distribute, possess, or possess with the intent to distribute pornography involving juveniles. If convicted as charged, he faces up to 20 years in prison.
