Plenty of sunshine on this Sunday afternoon with comfortable temperatures in the middle 60s. A weak front moved through during the early morning hours to allow another center of high pressure to settle across the area. Winds were brisk behind the front with a north wind at 8-15 mph across the area. The breeze is already calming as we head into the evening.
Tonight will be cool, but not cold with overnight lows near long term averages in the middle 40s. Look for high thin clouds to hang around and evening temperatures to fall through the 50s making for a nice night. The great weather continues into the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday with plenty of sun and comfortable temperatures.
Temperatures will rise a few degrees each afternoon Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday morning another front will stream into the area. Once again there will be just enough of a drop in temperatures to keep us in the pleasant range with lows in the 40s and highs in the middle 60s. A Gulf low will develop along the frontal boundary after it stalls to our south increasing clouds on Thursday. The next chance for rain moves in with the low on Friday.
