NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

The NOPD has released a photo of a man they say is wanted for a string of home burglaries in Algiers.

Police are asking for the public's help in finding 25-year-old Dale Plato. Plato, along with alleged accomplice Jaleesah Walker, who was arrested Jan. 17, faces five counts of burglary.

The burglaries took place Jan. 12 in the 2100 block of St. Nick Drive, Tennyson Place, the 300 block of Maumus Avenue, the 2600 block of Hyman Place and the 3900 block of South Inwood Avenue.

In all five of the burglaries, the suspects drove up to the residences in a red Jeep Wrangler, kicked in rear doors and stole items from the homes.

Anyone with information on Plato's whereabouts is asked to call Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
