NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - It will be another beautiful spring-like day before nasty weather arrives Thursday.
Highs Wednesday will be in the mid and upper 60s under sunny skies. By Thursday, an upper system out west will develop a Gulf low, increasing moisture along the coast. This moisture will be overriding colder air at the surface.
Temperatures Thursday will remain in the 50s with overcast skies and showers and storms by the afternoon. There is currently no risk of severe weather, but quite a bit of rainfall overnight Thursday and into Friday.
Sunshine returns for the weekend with chilly temperatures. Highs are expected in the 50s and lows in the 30s. We remain sunny and chilly into next week.
