NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - As an upper system brings a cold rain shield over us tonight, rainfall will be heavy at times with totals topping 1-2" by daybreak.
Friday looks dreary as there will be some leftover showers along with lingering low clouds, lots of wind and very cold temperatures. Heavy coats will be required.
Sunshine returns on Saturday with 30s in the morning warming only into the 50s during the afternoon. Sunday will be warmer after another chilly start with highs 60-65 under a bright late winter sun.
