NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - After a chilly, but nice Saturday, Sunday is right in line with more sunshine and slightly warmer temperatures. High pressure settled in just off shore keeping us under sinking air and allowing sunny skies to prevail for the start of the weekend. Winds remain out of the north preventing moisture return so as another front moves through on Sunday the only sensible change in the weather will be an increase in winds out of the north.
Enjoy a pleasant Sunday with lots of sunshine and slightly warmer temperatures during the day. The front moves by later in the day and overnight lows will be slightly colder going into Monday than on Sunday morning. No major changes for the start of the week with the next chance for rain looking to hold off until at least next weekend.
