Airline offers new non-stop flights out of Armstrong


Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport on Wednesday announced that Branson AirExpress will begin service from three destinations beginning May 6.

The non-stop destinations include Cancun, Mexico; and Branson, Missouri. Direct service to Cincinnati will also be offered with a short stopover in Branson.

Branson AirExpress has been offering discount flights from the Midwest region since 2009. Branson AirExpress will be using Orange Air to provide air service into New Orleans.

Service will be provided on a 150-seat MD-83 jet aircraft. Orange Air offers non-alcoholic complimentary beverage and snack service on every flight.
