NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old boy in the Hollygrove neighborhood.
The shooting happened just before 6 p.m. in the 2500 block of Mistletoe Street.
Officers were called out to investigate a report of a teen shot inside a home. When they arrived they found the teen with a gunshot wound to the body. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Investigators are currently in the process of interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence, as well as a motive.
