Police: Man hit ex-girlfriend on head with frying pan

KENNER, LA (WVUE) - A Kenner man was arrested and charged with aggravated second degree battery after allegedly hitting his ex-girlfriend on the head with a skillet.

Police say Christopher Horton, 48, of Kenner, got into an argument with the woman Wednesday in the 3000 block of Washington Street. When it escalated, he grabbed a skillet from the kitchen of the woman's home and hit her several times in the head and arm. She was taken to a local hospital and treated for a fractured arm and contusions on the right side of her forehead.

Horton was located at his home address in the 700 block of Minor Street on Thursday and arrested. He remains in custody with no bond set.
