Police seek woman seen on surveillance using stolen credit card

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

The NOPD is asking for the public's help in locating and identifying a woman who used a stolen credit card at several locations on Poydras Street and several locations in Kenner.

The incident was reported Dec. 15, 2014, and occurred in the 900 block of Hillary Street.

The 37-year-old male victim told police he was in a bar in the 800 block of North Rampart Street when he met an unidentified black female. The victim accepted a ride from the female to his home, and when he woke up the next morning, he discovered his wallet - including credit cards - and his cell phone had been stolen.

During the course of the investigation, detectives obtained surveillance video of a woman using the stolen credit card and a man who was with her.
