Pizza delivery driver robbed by gunman in Central City

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A gunman robbed a pizza delivery driver as he was getting ready to drop off an order in Central City.

New Orleans police say the victim arrived at an address in the 2500 block of Jackson Avenue around 9:45 p.m. when he was approached by the perpetrator. The armed man demanded money from the driver, who complied. After getting the money the gunman ran away, according to a preliminary report.

The NOPD did not release a description of the perpetrator.
