NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Late last night we had a strong cold front move in, bringing a few overnight showers and northwest winds. Today, high temperatures will be 20-25 degrees colder than Sunday.
We will struggle to get out of the 40s all day with bright sun. Overnight tonight we'll see a return to freezing temps on the north shore and areas away from the lake in the upper 20s, and in the city mid- to upper 30s. A chilly day tomorrow with a high of 53 degrees, and then a warm up Wednesday ahead of an upper disturbance triggering showers.
Clearing and chilly by Thursday and Friday with another warm-up Saturday and a chance for showers again on Sunday.
