NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The cold air is still hanging around Tuesday as morning temperatures drop into the 30s on both sides of the Lake.
Many spots will remain in the 40s to near 50 degrees this afternoon. High clouds have already started to move in from the west and by late Tuesday night, a Gulf low will begin to develop sending some showers toward the coast overnight.
Some parts of the metro area could also see some light rain well after midnight.
Scattered showers are expected Wednesday, but should clear by late afternoon and sunshine returns on Thursday.
We will see sunny skies and highs in the 50s to wrap up the week with a bit of a warm up Saturday as highs reach the mid to upper 60s. Parades this weekend look great!
