Metairie Man dies in Kenner Car Crash

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - A Metairie man dies following a Jan. 29 crash in Kenner. Pedro Dominguez, 59, was pronounced dead on Feb. 2, at L.S.U. Interim Hospital in New Orleans.

According to Kenner Police, Dominguez was driving west on 38th street in Kenner, in a 1996 Honda Civic. As Dominguez drove across Williams Boulevard, he did not stop in the median cross over, and drove into the south bound lanes. Police say Dominguez crashed the vehicle into a 2005 GMC, model C7500 box truck, driven by Armaud Sirgus, 25, of La Place. The truck was owned by Larry R. Pack Enterprises Inc., of LaPlace.

Dominguez was transported to the hospital with head trauma, and fractured ribs. Hospital staff removed Dominguez from a ventilator on Feb. 2.
