(WVUE) - An upper disturbance is triggering the rainy weather Wednesday. Along with the showers, temperatures will remain chilly with a high only around 50 degrees.
As the disturbance moves east and a cold front sweeps through Wednesday night, clearing skies will make way overnight and sunshine returns by Thursday.
We'll wrap up the week sunny and chilly with highs in the mid 50s, but a quick warm up is coming this weekend. We will see plenty of sun both Saturday and Sunday with afternoon temperatures in the mid 60s and low 70s. We look to remain dry for all the weekend parades!
