NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The creative minds at Audubon Aquarium of the Americas have released their own take on last Sunday's Super Bowl half-time show that featured pop princess Katy Perry dancing with a giant shark.

Divers at the aquarium have been "dancing" with the sharks for nearly 25 years, entering the 400,000-gallon Gulf of Mexico exhibit twice a week to perform a very important task - keep it clean! One or two divers scrub the interior glass free of algae, while two safety divers watch their backs, gently redirecting any shark that comes too close.

The exhibit is home to three sand tiger sharks, five brown sharks, and six nurse sharks surrounded by schools of fish, sting rays and sea turtles.
