Video captures woman involved in NOLA East armed robbery

Police are searching or two unidentified women and a man accused of committing an armed robbery in New Orleans East.

According to police, the 25-year-old male victim said he was smoking a cigarette in the parking lot of an apartment complex around 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 19 when he was approached by two unknown women. According to the victim, an unknown man walked up while he was talking to the two women and demanded his money, implying he had a gun.

The victim gave up $160 in cash, then the male suspect ordered the victim to get in a car with one of the women and go to an ATM to get more cash. The woman drove him to an ATM in the 7000 block of Bullard Avenue where the victim withdrew $200 in cash and gave it to her. She then drove him back to the apartment complex and fled in a black SUV with the other suspects.
