After the first of three cold fronts this week passed through Monday, a chill has returned to southeast Louisiana.
Sunny skies Tuesday afternoon will see temperatures around 61 degrees. This is only slightly cooler than our normal high of 64 degrees.
Overnight, lows will drop into the 30s and 40s.
The second cold front passes through on early Thursday, dropping highs into the 50s. A chilly Friday will see morning lows in the 20s and 30s, and only reach near 51 degrees by the afternoon.
The third front arrives early Sunday keeping temps only near 50 degrees for the end the weekend. It will be beautiful - but chilly - as we head into the big parade weekend. Signs are pointing to a mild Lundi Gras with highs in the low to mid 60s with increasing clouds and a chance for rain Mardi Gras Day.
