SEC baseball coaches vote LSU favorites to win SEC West

In preparation for the 2015 season, the SEC baseball coaches have been polled and LSU has been unanimously selected as the favorite to win the SEC West, while Vanderbilt is favored to win the conference.

The Commodores received 11 of the 14 first place votes, followed by Florida with two and LSU with one(Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team.)

The Tigers placed four players on the All-SEC teams, led by shortstop Alex Bregman and outfield Andrew Stevenson, both juniors, on the first team.  Senior catcher Kade Scivicque and junior outfielder Mark Laird were voted to the second team.

Paul Mainieri's squad gets the season underway Friday at 7 PM when they host Kansas.
