Three men tie up man and woman inside their home, rob them

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

 Police are searching for three men accused of tying up a man and woman inside their home and robbing them at gunpoint.

According to NOPD a 41-year-old woman was parking her car outside her home in the Lower 9th Ward around midnight on Feb. 13 when she was approached by three unknown black men. The victim told police that the men produced guns and forced her into her home. Once inside, the victim said they tied up her and her 21-year-old male roommate with duct tape and ransacked the house.

The three suspects fled the location in the woman's car after stealing two cell phones and $30 in cash.

The first suspect was described as a black male with hazel yes and a goatee, about 5'8" tall and weighing about 220 lbs. He was wearing a black hoodie with black jeans and black shoes.

The second suspect was described as a black male, about 25-years-old, 5'5" tall, weighing about 175 lbs. He was wearing a grey hoodie, grey sweat pants, and white and grey gloves.

The third suspect was described as a black male, about 25-years-old, 5'5" tall and weighing about 175 lbs. He was wearing a black hoodie and black pants with black, white and blue shoes.

Once apprehended, all three suspects will be booked with Armed Robbery, Aggravated Burglary, Aggravated assault and Theft of a Motor Vehicle.

The stolen car the three suspects drove away in is a Maroon 2005 Buick Rendezvous SUV with Louisiana license plate number HOB 977. The photo included with this story is a stock photo of the same car, not an actual photo of the stolen car.

    The Buncombe County man charged with murder in the deaths of a TV chef, her husband, and unborn child pleaded guilty to killing the victims and dismembering their bodies during a hearing Thursday and was sentenced to prison.
