Marrero native Ryan Clark announces NFL retirement

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

Ryan Clark is hanging up his football cleats for a microphone, announcing his retirement from the NFL on Wednesday. Clark will continue to work with ESPN as an NFL analyst.

The Marrero native and former Archbishop Shaw High School and LSU standout played for three different NFL teams (Giants, Redskins, Steelers) over 13 seasons from 2002-2014.

Clark was voted to the Pro Bowl in 2011 and helped the Steelers win Super Bowl XLIII to cap off the 2008 campaign.
