NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Friday will be a transition day as winds shift to the southeast ushering in a warm front as temperatures rise into the 70s this weekend.
Expect to see more clouds and showers developing each day.
Brisk winds return Friday bringing much warmer air and the threat of late afternoon and evening showers.
We'll be in the warm air sector on Saturday before another strong front arrives midday on Sunday. Temperatures behind the front will require sweaters and jackets for Sunday afternoon and into most of next week.
