NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Look for clouds and foggy conditions to start the day on Sunday. It will be mild once again with early morning temperatures in the 50's on the north shore and 60's on the south shore.
The afternoon will soar once again with highs in the middle 70's. A low pressure system will push past us increasing rain chances through the day as well. Expect spotty showers through the afternoon and evening with a few heavier down pours.
Make sure to take along a coat if you will be out for most of the day. Even though the afternoon will be warm, temperatures drop dramatically with the front as much as 30 degrees going from the 70's to the 40's before dark in some places.
The chilly and rainy weather will continue as moisture rides up over the cold air at the surface. It looks like we don't get a real break in the showers until Thursday.
