Four New Orleans area men arrested in child porn sting

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell says an undercover child porn operation helped lead to the arrest of four New Orleans area men.

The Attorney General's Cyber Crime Unit conducted the operation in mid-February.

Investigators arrested 28-year-old Brian Boiteaux of New Orleans. He is booked with 15 counts of possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles.

Also under arrest, 45-year-old Scott Whittington of Jefferson, who faces one count of possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles. Investigators also arrested 44-year-old Jimmy Parker of Metairie. He faces 34 counts of distributing Pornography Involving Juveniles and three counts of possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles. Also facing charges, 32-year-old Zachary Hardouin. He faces four counts of distributing Pornography Involving Juveniles and 2 counts of possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles.

Attorney General Buddy Caldwell said, "Through our continued work with this great network of law enforcement affiliates and by utilizing the proper tools and resources available, we remain committed to tracking down these offenders who abuse and exploit innocent children online."

If convicted, each of the men faces a possible sentence of 20 years in prison on each count.
