NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Freezing rain and sleet are falling over much of north Louisiana and forecaster say that will change to snow.
A winter storm warning remains in effect for all of north Louisiana until 6 p.m. Wednesday.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Chris Nuttall says a mixture of freezing rain and sleet is moving into the Shreveport area Wednesday morning and just after sunrise it will change to snow. Nuttall says 1 to 3 inches are expected along the Interstate 20 corridor and several locations could get up to 5 inches.
He says bridges and overpasses remain icy.
Nuttall says the roads could become icy depending of the amount of snow.
