HOUMA, LA (WVUE) - Some business owners in Houma are the targets of possibly one graffiti artist, who is drawing the same kind of symbols on buildings around town. Police in Houma say they've recently received several reports of graffiti on businesses in the area of St. Charles Street in West Houma.
Police say the buildings hit include the Gourmet House, AT&T fence next to Gourmet House, a traffic box at St Charles and Pendleton, a stop sign at Southdown Mandalay and another behind Rite Aid.
The graffiti, according to officers, appears to be done by the same suspect since the same symbol is being portrayed throughout the area.
Anyone with information is asked to call Houma Police at 873-6371 or Bayou Region Crime Stoppers at 1-800-743-7433.
Police say whoever is responsible could be facing misdemeanor charges that could result in jail, fines or both.
