Career night for Pondexter leads to another Pelicans win

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

Quincy Pondexter set a new career high with 25 points, and the Pelicans beat the Brooklyn Nets 102-96, Wednesday night at the Smoothie King Center. It was the third straight victory for New Orleans (30-27).

It was also the second consecutive game in which six-different Pelicans scored in double figures. Tyreke Evans tallied 15 points and 11 assists, while Omer Asik added 12 points and 13 rebounds.

The Pelicans wrap up a three-game homestand Friday night against the Miami Heat.
