Bob: Warm-up on the way along with chance for rain

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Today was the fifth say where highs stayed in the 50s at a time of year when we should be 65-70.

Temperatures will slowly climb closer to normal/average by Sunday, with the first half of next week soaring into the 70s.

With the warmer air will come the threat for a few showers late Sunday and Monday, with the possibility for thunderstorms ahead of our next front on Wednesday.

It will really feel like spring since we have been chilly for so long!
