After an almost perfect Saturday, Sunday will not be quite as nice. Saturday's high temperature made it all the way up to 62 for a high. Still well below our long term average of 68, but it broke a streak of five days with highs below 60. The blue sky and sunshine for most of the day didn't hurt.
Sunday will bring more cloud cover. There will be some sunny breaks, but the clouds will definitely dominate and some rain showers will move through the area as well. Showers may start early in the morning with several waves through the day. Temperatures will also be closer to the normal in the upper 60's and one or two spots may hit 70.
The warming trend continues into the week. Temperatures will be in the 70's for Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday a major cold front moves in and brings with it some big changes. Temperatures will drop dramatically. Ahead of the front we may see some strong storms. We will also have to pay very close attention to the timing of the cold air moving in and the moisture moving out. It's still a long way away, but we will keep on top of it in the Fox 8 Weather Center.
