NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Temperatures will be warmer with highs in the 70's for Monday and Tuesday, but the warmer, more moist air is leading to low clouds and fog. It made for a dreary day even though high temperatures were in the mid to upper 60's.
Easterly and southeasterly flow will continue to pump in moisture creating foggy mornings for the next several days. Monday may also still have a few lingering showers. Tuesday looks drier and still warm, but the cloud cover will still be an issue.
Wednesday we are expecting a strong cold front that will dramatically drop temperatures. Some stormy weather may come with the front and there is the potential for overrunning rain. Behind the front expect windy conditions and a frigid finish to the week.
