NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - After last week's chill, today's mid-70s felt almost warm as the Gulf muggies made for a soupy sky.
Dense fog is likely to sock us in again overnight and a dense fog advisory has been issued. Shower chances will be slim on Tuesday and early Wednesday before they increase ahead of a strong cold front that will bring back the winter feel for the end of this week.
Temperatures will be 30-40 degrees colder on Thursday accompanied by brisk north winds.
Next weekend should begin a warm-up.
