Woman arrested for turning her home into a bar

A 21 year old woman was arrested for selling pricey cocktails out of her Ruston home.  According to agents with the Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control (ATC), Bryana Chanee Jackson was advertising drinks for sale on social media sites.

An undercover ATC operative showed up at her apartment on February 27th on Alabama Avenue and proceeded to order two drinks.  Jackson provided the agent with the drinks and charged him $25.  Agents say the two drinks contained high content alcohol.

ATC, with the help of the Lincoln Parish Sheriff's Office arrested Jackson  for selling alcohol out of her home without valid state or local alcohol permits.

Jackson was booked into the Lincoln Parish Detention Center and charged with operating without a local or state high content alcohol permit. While at the residence, LPSO and ATC agents also arrested a separate individual for possession of marijuana.
