NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Wednesday morning could produce another foggy hassle for motorists crossing waterways in and around New Orleans.
The National Weather Service has again issued a Dense Fog Advisory for southeast Louisiana from 9 pm. to 9 am., forecasting fog to impact coastal waters through Wednesday morning.
"Warm, moist air moving northward across the relatively cool waters near the coast will result in widespread dense fog tonight and Wednesday morning," according to the National Weather Service Slidell website.
The advisory means visibilities will frequently fall to less than one mile.
"Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid navigating in these conditions," according to the advisory.
