Laplace attorney Daniel Becnel filed the lawsuit Friday over Chinese laminate flooring sold by the flooring company.
Stock prices for Lumber Liquidators plummeted after a "60 Minutes" report showed formaldehyde in some flooring was triple the safe level set by California. Formaldehyde is a chemical linked to cancer.
