(WVUE) - After a nice weekend, conditions this week won't be so great.
A stalled upper pattern is sending Gulf moisture into the region. Several disturbances coming in waves will trigger showers this week and some isolated thunderstorms. Around 4-5 inches of rainfall across the area over a span of four days is possible. Keep the umbrellas handy all week.
We do look to dry out a bit Friday and the weekend. Spring doesn't officially begin until next Friday March 20. However, with the current pattern, a cold front will not be able to make it to the Gulf coast this week or weekend.
