SLIDELL, LA (WVUE) - The St. Tammany Parish Narcotics Task Force on Monday located and dismantled three methamphetamine labs at a home in Slidell, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Arrested are Chastity Arnett, Jonathan Benitez, Brandon Billiot, Sidney Bland, Frank Cavallino, Christopher Courtney and Gladys Courtney.
In February, the Task Force began an investigation into the manufacture of methamphetamine on Dean Road in Slidell. On Monday, a search warrant was executed at the home. Investigators said they found three one-pot meth labs, ingredients used to make the drug, drug paraphernalia, a small amount of finished product and a Smith and Wesson semi-automatic handgun.
The residents of the home - Bland, the Courtneys and Arnett - were arrested and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail. Three men sitting in a car in the driveway of the home – Benitez, Billiot and Cavallino - were arrested after pot and valium was found in their car, according to the Sheriff's Office.
The St. Tammany Parish Narcotics Task Force is comprised of members from the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office, the Mandeville Police Department and the Slidell Police Department.
There was no immediate word on bond for the suspects.
