One arrested for recent Thiboadaux shootings

THIBODAUX, LA (WVUE) - Thibodaux Chief of Police Scott Silverii says Joshua Johnson,18, has been arrested for a multiple shootings in Thibodaux.

Johnson faces charges for aggravated assault with a firearm. He is currently being held at the Lafourche Parish Detention Center on a $500,000 bond.

On March 11, arrest warrants were issued for Johnson, and Dreonta Robertson, 19, for aggravated assault with a firearm.

Detectives say that the two have been linked to three shootings within the city limits of Thibodaux.

Bond has been set at $250,000 for Robertson, who is still on the loose.

The Thibodaux Police Department is actively working the case, and they thank public for help thus far.
