MORGAN CITY, LA (WVUE) - A Morgan City man was arrested Tuesday after Assumption Parish narcotics agents found items in his house used to "shake and bake" methamphetamine, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Chadwick Landry, 43, of Aristile Road, was booked with creation and operation of a clandestine lab and possession of drug paraphernalia.
In an ongoing investigation, agents executed a search warrant and found meth ingredients – some of them hidden in sheetrock walls – as well as materials used in packaging drugs for sale, the sheriff said.
Additional charges and arrests may follow pending results from evidence submitted to the state Crime Lab.
Landry remains jailed on a $100,000 bond.
