Domino's Pizza boxes: The newest recruitment tool for the NOPD

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The New Orleans Police Department expands its recruitment campaign by placing advertisements on pizza boxes.

"Get Behind the Badge" advertisements began appearing on Domino's Pizza boxes sold and delivered by 33 stores in the Greater New Orleans region. The effort will continue over the next several weeks.

It's part of a new partnership with RPM Pizza, LLC, the largest franchisee of Domino's Pizza in the country. The company will expand the Department's recruitment campaign by providing free advertising at Domino's Pizza stores across the region.

"Our number one priority is to recruit and hire the best qualified candidates to join the NOPD as we work to rebuild the department and make our city safe," said NOPD Superintendent Michael Harrison. "In order to make it happen, we need local residents, businesses and organizations to work together to spread the word that the NOPD is hiring. Domino's Pizza is stepping up in a big way and I am thankful for its incredible partnership in our effort to recruit the best and the bravest."

In addition to printing the recruitment advertisements, RPM Pizza, LLC has committed to providing in-kind advertising opportunities and pizza donations to assist in the Department's recruiting efforts throughout the year.
