NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

A Baton Rouge man faces multiple charges related to child pornography following an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force investigation that extended into Canada.

Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell reported that Matthew Walker was arrested Friday after the state received information accusing the 24-year-old of sexually exploiting three children.

According to Caldwell, a search of Walker's home revealed that he was in possession of dozens of images and videos of children under 13 engaging in sexual activities or posed in a sexual manner. He's been charged with three counts each of extortion and indecent behavior with a juvenile, two counts each of producing and distributing pornography involving juveniles, 50 counts of possessing child pornography, and a single count of computer-aided solicitation of a minor.

Walker was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison

In a news release, Caldwell said, “As a result of our partnerships with law enforcement affiliates across North America, we were able to put a parent's worst nightmare behind bars. We will continue to work tirelessly to protect children throughout Louisiana and across the country from abuse and exploitation at the hands of dangerous pedophiles.”
